Españolidad Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Summary

Nothing you save in Españolidad reaches us. The app works on your phone, without an account and without sending your progress to any server: there is no server. There are four exceptions. You start three of them: the purchase, which the store handles; the emails you decide to send us; and rating the app. You do not start the fourth: on Android, the Google Play Billing Library, of its own accord, sends technical logs about its operation to Google. All four are explained below.

What is saved and where

Españolidad saves on your own device:

Españolidad never sends that information anywhere. The only copy that can exist outside the phone is the system backup, if you have it turned on: on Android, the encrypted backup in your Google account; on iPhone, the iCloud backup or the one on your computer. Españolidad cannot read those copies: they are there so that you do not lose your progress when you change phones.

If you uninstall the app, everything is deleted from the phone along with it. The backup copy, if there is one, is governed by your account settings.

The purchase

You can unlock all the questions with a one-off payment. The payment is processed by Google Play or the App Store with your store account: Españolidad does not see your card, your name or your email address. It receives only the confirmation of the purchase, and records on your device that the app is unlocked. «Restaurar compra» (Restore purchase), in «Perfil» (Profile, the circle at the top right of the main screen), asks the store about this.

As it does for any developer, Google Play gives us a sales report with data on each purchase, such as the country and the phone model, without your name or your email address. We use it only for accounting and taxes.

The purchase is governed by Google’s or Apple’s privacy policy.

Feedback and «Reportar esta pregunta» (Report this question)

«Enviar comentarios» (Send feedback), in «Perfil», and «¿Has visto un error? Escríbenos» (Spotted an error? Write to us), in «Fuentes» (Sources), open your phone’s email app with a new email, with the recipient and the subject already filled in. «Reportar esta pregunta», in the explanation of each question, does the same. The subject includes the version of Españolidad and that of your system; the report also includes the number and the text of the question.

Nothing leaves your phone until you send it, and you can edit or delete it before then. If you send it, we receive the message with what its subject includes, your email address and the name your account shows, and we use it only to reply to you and to correct what you tell us about.

Rating the app

After you pass a mock exam, or note down in the app that you passed the exam, the window for rating the app may appear. That window belongs to Google Play or the App Store, not to us: the rating and the review you write go to the store and are governed by its privacy policy, and the app does not know whether you rated it or what you entered. You can close it without rating. «Valorar Españolidad» (Rate Españolidad), in «Perfil», opens the app’s listing in the store.

If you write a review, the store publishes it under the name on your store account, and we can read it and reply to you there. Google Play shows it to us together with data about the phone you wrote it on, such as the model and the Android version.

In «Fuentes», the link to the manual opens the Instituto Cervantes website (examenes.cervantes.es) in your browser, and «Política de privacidad» (Privacy policy), in «Perfil», opens the Spanish version of this policy. Those websites and the stores have their own privacy policies.

What is not collected

On Android, the Google Play Billing Library does send technical logs about its operation to Google. This is explained below, in the permissions section.

Permissions

On Android, Españolidad declares the Google Play billing permission (com.android.vending.BILLING), which enables the purchase. The Google Play Billing Library, which is included in the app, adds access to the internet (INTERNET) and to the network state (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE). It uses them not for the purchase, which is carried out by the Play Store app, but to send to Google, of its own accord, technical logs about its operation: whether operations with the Play Store succeed or fail, and connection problems. According to Google, they are used to improve the performance of the library and to provide better support for errors.

The library generates those logs every time the app starts and when you make a purchase, among other times. They are accompanied by technical data about the phone, such as the model, the Android version, the configured language and region, the time zone, the connection type and the mobile operator, and Google also receives the IP address from which they are sent. Nothing you save in Españolidad goes into those logs, and we do not receive them. Apart from this transmission, Españolidad does not connect to the internet.

On iPhone, Españolidad does not ask for any permission.

Minors

Españolidad does not ask for your age or for any data in order to work, and it treats everyone the same: what this policy explains also applies to minors.

Controller and your rights

The controller is Juan Ernesto Jiménez Suárez, who publishes the apps as Nauj Digital Solutions. You can write to him at support@naujdigitalsolutions.com.

We process three types of personal data: the emails you decide to send us; if you buy on Google Play, the sales report the store gives us; and the reviews you post in the store, which we read and can reply to there. We process the emails because you write to us and in order to reply to you, on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in assisting you, and we keep them for as long as they are needed to reply and to make corrections, and for two years at most. We process the sales report on the basis of our legitimate interest in meeting our accounting and tax obligations, and we keep it for as long as those obligations require. We process store reviews on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to those who give their opinion, and they stay in the store until you delete them. Our email is handled by Google Workspace, which processes it on our behalf, and we do not share that data with anyone else unless the law obliges us to.

You can request access to that data, its rectification or its erasure, object to its processing, restrict it, request its portability or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@naujdigitalsolutions.com. You change or delete store reviews yourself, from the store itself. If you believe we process your data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD; www.aepd.es).

Changes to this policy

If Españolidad changes what it does with your data, this policy is updated before that change reaches the store, and the privacy sections of the Google Play and App Store listings are updated in the same submission.
